CHRISTMAS IN CALI, Colombia (12/21/00 - 12/26/00) TLC's inaugural Christmas event featured 2 evening Christmas parties and a wonderful Sunday luncheon. Because of the holidays, airfare was difficult to get at the last moment. However, 18 gentlemen braved the holiday travel and were greeted by approximately 160 Lovely Cali women at these events. This promises to be a romantic event for the coming years.

As usual, the socials were held at the Hotel Intercontinental. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers, drinks, dancing, and door prizes. The weather cooperated fully and the Sunday luncheon was held at one of the nicest restaurants in Cali. We hope to repeat this event next year. We return to Cali on June 14, 2001. We recommend making airline reservations as soon as possible. We plan on posting photos from this tour over the next few days. Call us if you need more information.

BARRANQUILLA, Colombia (11/23/00 - 11/28/00) What a way to get away from winter weather & enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving! TLC held another successful tour to sunny Barranquilla, Colombia on November 23, 2000. The 40+ gentlemen who attended this tour were treated to numerous gorgeous women and the Summer-like tropical climate. Upon arriving in Barranquilla (Thursday night) the gentlemen were greeted at the airport and transported to the Hotel Puerta del Sol. After "checking-in", were invited to party on the famous Colombian Chivas bus ride. The men attending, along with some of the pretty TLC translators, boarded this moving party and enjoyed themselves into the early hours the next day visiting nightclubs and late-night sightseeing.

During the Friday morning Team Meeting we had some special guests come by to meet some of the TLC clients. The first guest was a Nun from an orphanage who TLC works with to raise money for the many needed items that the orphanage was lacking. TLC, along with its gentlemen clients donated close to $1,000.00! With this money TLC purchased some much-needed tables, chairs, silverware & even a computer and sewing machine! The hotel manager also stopped by to discuss the city and the amenities offered at the hotel, including a buffet breakfast, swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna.

A total of over 400 beautiful women attended the Friday & Saturday evening socials where multiple door prizes were raffled including a portable TV and T-shirts. Everyone enjoyed Sunday's pool party as TLC coordinated a humorous (amateur) beauty contest for the women & men, which produced a lot of laughter. Guests were then treated to a typical Colombian meal of churrasco (beef), salad, rice, & yucca. Several of the men took dates and visited the beaches of Cartagena, one of the most famous resorts in all of South America. Cartagena is located only an hour and ½ from Barranquilla.

GUADALAJARA, Mexico (9/28/00 - 10/3/00) This was TLC's second visit to Guadalajara this year. Guadalajara is a mix of modern and traditional Mexico. It is becoming known as the "Silicon Valley" of Mexico because of the computer component industry located there. The ladies attending are generally more mature than those in Colombia, however a larger majority have travel visas to the US and also English skills. Around 400 ladies attended this event, but this year we are expecting a larger turnout of women. We are also planning 2 sight-seeing tours. These optional events will include a general sight-seeing tour of the city and also a 6 hour trip to a local tequila factory which some of our clients found extremely interesting. As in the past, an all female mariachi group serenaded the guests at the Sunday pool party.

PANAMA CITY, Panama (8/3/00 - 8/8/00) TLC had last visited Panama in June of 1998. Even though we hadn't visited there for 2 years, we still had a comfortable turnout of interested Panamanians. A small group of 20 men enjoyed the charm and elegance of over 300 Panamanian ladies attending. A sight-seeing group visited the Panama Canal and also Panama Viejo, the old section of Panama City, most of which was built in the 1600's. This year we hope to take 35 gentlemen and we are anticipating over 400 women. Plan ahead, and you could be one of the fortunate men in attendance.

CALI, Colombia (6/15/00 - 6/20/00). Our biggest and best tour to date ! A record number of over 1,100 women attended our Friday & Saturday night social events. The 75 men attending could not believe the quality and quantity of the women at these events. Even the weather cooperated in making this a truly memorable experience for those in attendance. Besides the large turnout of women, and excellent pool party with evening dancing, we also had the pleasure of attending two beauty contests, one on Thursday and the other held on Monday. TLC was a proud sponsor of the second beauty contest and contributed a color television as a second runner-up prize. Cali is a beautiful city with numerous activities, fine restaurants, shopping malls and spectacular sight-seeing. We look forward to returning to Cali again this year. We hope to repeat an encore performance of this outstanding 2000 Singles Vacation. Plan now and make your reservations early. Space is limited.

GUADALAJARA, Mexico (4/13/00 - 4/18/00). More than 400 senoritas attended our social functions to meet the 35 American men who attended. Again, the 5-star hotel that we use is the perfect backdrop for a terrific evening of socializing, music, and dancing. TLC served complimentary appetizers and refreshments during these memorable 6 hour events. Sunday was an exceptional outing that featured "Femenil Tecalitlan" (a famous all female Mariachi group), a brunch buffet, and poolside margaritas. The women in attendance judged our first "Best Legs Contest" of men. This was great fun for everyone and we hope to continue this activity in the future. We recommend reserving space early for this event. We expect this event to sell out several weeks in advance.
